Sustainable printing
Sustainable printing, it seems like a contradictory combination. Yet even with printing, an environmentally friendly approach is certainly possible. We work exclusively with water-based inks. This ink contains fewer pollutants than plastisol ink and dries at lower temperatures. Our textile collection at mainly consists of organic cotton and other, natural fabrics certified by, for example, the Fairwear foundation, or the GOTS label for organic textiles.
With attention to the whole chain
For us, sustainability in printing was a logical choice from day one. So we have made every effort to look thoughtfully throughout the chain to see where improvements can be made. The Vasim, where we are located, has also invested heavily in solar panels from which we derive much of our energy supply. There, too, we derive environmental benefits. In this industry that is clearly experiencing its challenges in this, by looking critically at our entire process, we still try to do our part to minimize our environmental impact.
