Sustainable printing of work vests
Sustainable printing for more than 15 years. Since the beginning, we have been emphatically concerned with sustainability, without losing sight of our company’s core business. While textile printing is not, in theory, the most sustainable activity, we make every effort to print our clothing in sustainable ways. For example, we work with organic materials and water-based inks. In this way, together we make the world just a little more beautiful. The inks we use to print the work vests contain less harmful substances than plastisol ink, for example, and dry at lower temperatures. As a result, less energy is required to dry the ink. Our textile collection consists mainly of organic cotton and other, natural fabrics certified by, for example, the Fairwear foundation, or the GOTS label for organic textiles.
Most durable printing technique screen printing
Screen printing is at the heart of our printing techniques. It is versatile and also one of the most durable printing techniques for textiles. Mainly, we print using screen printing in large runs, but if you do not use too many colors in your design, it is also possible to use screen printing for smaller runs. The styles of screen printing are vast and the colors infinite. Our advanced machinery and skilled personnel are a top-notch combination, and you can see that in the results.
We print based on the Pantone color system. This allows us to easily reprint the same colors in any repeat order. In addition, this method of printing offers many possibilities when you speak on color effects. For example, it is possible to give the clothing a metallic, fluorescent, gold or silver look. Depending on your budget, style and applications, there is a huge range of possibilities. Above all, be surprised by the possibilities.
Transfer printing for hard-to-print areas
For hard-to-print areas on the garment, we use transfer printing. This allows us, for example, to put a print nice and tight on the neck. The printed transfer is applied indirectly to the textile. For example, it is first placed on a foil, then it is heat pressed onto the textile. With our latest generation DTF printer (Direct to Film) it is possible to print full color transfers in very high resolution. These transfers are applied to the textile with the heat press.
